Throughout the more than 30 years we have been providing career transition services for thousands of clients, we have learned that a successful career transition involves more than just getting a job. Work is only one part of achieving life success. It is about finding a vocation that best fits your innate skills, your values, and personal attributes. This requires a holistic approach to produce the achievement of a healthy balance between the mix of work and personal life. It involves self actualizing - that is to be doing something that makes you feel you have control over, not just your vocational destiny, but also many other aspects of life needs. Balance in one's life produces energy, good health, and emotional stability.
In order to assist you in focusing on your needs, we recommend that you complete this survey. This is a free no-obligation service that you should find very helpful. It will give you an opportunity to think about and articulate an understanding of the things that make up your special needs.
You will get a response from us that will allow you to clarify your needs from a career and personal perspective.
This survey is based on a synthesis of the types of needs that our clients have expressed over the years. Each question should be rated by considering the degree of impact on your career situation and overall personal life that the question produces. There is room for write-in comments. These can also be very helpful, and we encourage you to add your commentary.
We ask you to rate your perceptions by choosing the appropriate rating level that most closely fits the way you would rate your situation for each question. You do this by checking the box that most closely represents your situation. All questions must be scored before you will be able to submit your survey to us in confidence and get back the results. Your confidentiality will be respected.
One of our Consultants will analyze your survey results and provide you with a personalized report within three working days of the submission date.
We are using a scale of 1 to 5. Here are the definitions of the scales.
1. This score indicates no discernable impact. Things are going well.
2. This score indicates some concern, but you could probably live with it.
3. This score indicates that a real impact does exist, and needs resolution.
4. This indicates that the impact is significant and represents a strong need for resolution.
5. This indicates that the impact is a major issue, and is producing tangible stress on your quality of life, personal relationships and health.
